What will happen if the company is unable to deliver the specific car montel which the client had asked?

In case of delivery failure of a specific car model, the company is obliged to deliver another car montel at the same category other else in bigger category at the same price!

How can I make a reservation?

You can make a booking by: follow the three easy steps for real time online reservation, contacting us by telephone or contacting us via email.

Is it possible to cancel or alter a reservation?

Of course. A reservation can be cancelled or altered at any time and without any charge.

What kind of insurance is included in the price?

The price includes the following insurance:
– Local Taxes and Vat
– Third party insurance

Is it possible to add an additional driver?

Yes, additional drivers can be added free of charge. The only requirements are that any additional driver must fulfil the terms and conditions of hire and that they must be declared before the hire period begins so as to be covered by the insurance.

Are child seats available?

Child seats for children of all ages are available at no extra cost.

Is an international driving licence necessary?

No, it is not necessary. All that you need is a valid driver’s licence that has been held for at least one year.

Is there an age limit for drivers who want to hire a car?

The minimum age is 22.

Is it possible to extend the hire period?

Yes, as long as we are informed timely, especially during high season.

Can I make a reservation without giving a deposit?

Yes, a deposit is not needed to secure a booking.

Can I pick-up and drop-off the car anywhere on the island?

Pick-up and drop-off can take place in any major town in the Lasithi area and Heraklion without any additional charges. Our staff will be happy to make further arrangements with you.

Can I change Plans or cancel at any time?

Pick-up and drop-off of vehicles is possible 24 hours a day following prior arrangement with our offices.

How do I pick-up the car?

If you are collecting the vehicle anywhere on the island apart from our offices, one of our employees will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name. On your part, you must have your driving licence with you.

When I pick-up the car will there be fuel in it?

Yes. Your only obligation is to ensure that when you return the vehicle it has the same amount of fuel as upon collection.

Is it difficult to find petrol stations?

No. There are many petrol stations on the whole island. Of course our employees are at your disposal should you want to know where the nearest one is to you.

What is the company’s policy on off-road driving?

Our cars are not for a off road driving.

What do I have to do in the event of an accident?

You must call the police immediately and then make contact with cars4rent.gr Holiday Cars.

What should I do if the car breaks down?

In the unfortunate event of a breakdown you should call us and in a short time an experienced team of mechanics will be with you.

If there is a delay in drop-offing the car what will happen?

If you need to extend the hire period then you should contact us so that we can check availability. If you do not give us early notice there will be extra charges apply.
